Internet Research Group Otago

The Internet Research Group of Otago (IRGO) is a multidisciplinary group that facilitates cross-disciplinary inquiry into social, cultural, economic, political, and technological issues relating to the internet. As a network of active researchers, IRGO is also interested in promoting and developing research, scholarship, and understanding in and across these areas.

IRGO welcomes new members who are interested in internet issues and digital culture. Members are welcome to participate in the threads and pages on this wiki, and are encouraged to use the RSS system (left-hand menu) to keep track of the various conversations happening here.

Representatives of industry and government are also welcome to join the conversation, meet with our members, and discuss these important internet issues.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, you are welcome to contact the current convener of IRGO, Dr Erika Pearson (erika.pearson@otago.ac.nz).
